Cinethusiasts Win Best Horror Film

The School of Media Arts & Design’s Cinethusiasts club recently took the award for Best Horror Film at this year’s Four Points Film Competition. The Four Points Project (formerly National Film Challenge) is a national competition where filmmaking teams are given 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a finished film. The winning film, Empire, was directed by SoMAD Film senior Michaela Fitzgerald, produced by Sam Camilli & Jane Hearst, written by Nell Dobesh & Danny Mitchell, photographed by Trenton Smith, lit by Jordan Kilian and edited by Rachell Ihme & Ernesto Fonseca. Other crew members included: Michael Robinson, Aaron Beck, Emily Dunaisky, Katie Urmann, Dillan Schmiedt and Alexa Puppo. The Cinethusiasts have competed in this film competition for the past eleven years.
