Two physics students win awards for presentations at Sigma Xi
Physics major Iwnetim Abatate and chem major/physics minor Loza Tadesse each presented a poster on work research they did over the summer. The posters were presented at the annual Sigma Xi International Research Conference, held Nov 7-8, 2014 in GLendale, AZ.
Iwnetim’s poster, which recognized as the best engineering poster in the undergraduate division, was on work done at Caltech in summer 2013 with Dr. Sossina Haile.
Loza’s poster, which was recognized as an outstanding engineering poster in the undergraduate division, was on work done at MIT this past summer.
