Office of Diversity and Inclusion partnering with Disability Resource Center to screen “A Beautiful Mind” Oct. 28
In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is partnering with the Disability Resource Center to screen A Beautiful Mind, Tuesday, October 28 at 7pm in CMU 101. There will be free popcorn during the film and resources available afterwards. Blankets welcomed!
Held each October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is a national campaign that raises awareness about disability employment issues and celebrates the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. The theme for 2014 is “Expect. Employ. Empower.” The state of Minnesota believes with the right kind of training, preparation, and workplace accommodations, people with disabilities can have rewarding careers.
