Kandace Creel Falcón presented paper at the Midwest Foco meeting of the NACCS

Kandace Creel Falcón, Director of Women’s and Gender Studies presented a paper titled, “Railroad Settlement Narratives: Invisibility & Chicana Feminist Interpretations of Mexican Women’s Representations in Early 20th Century Kansas” at the Midwest Foco meeting of the National Association for Chicana and Chicano Scholars (NACCS). The conference gathering focused on the theme “Latinas & Latinos in the Midwest: Past, Present, & Future” and took place Thursday October 23rd through Saturday October 25th at the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus.
