StarID to replace DragonNet
StarID: GET IT. KNOW IT. USE IT.
On Sunday, October 12, 2014, your MSUM DragonNet login will change to your StarID. StarID is a username that is used across MnSCU to access information technology systems and services. This conversion has already occurred for most other MnSCU campuses and will draw us closer to being part of a MnSCU-wide standard where StarID will be used to log into our office work computers, wireless internet (Wi-Fi), computer labs, Desire2Learn (D2L), email, e-Services, and much more.
If you haven’t activated your StarID, please do so prior to October 12th by visiting http://starid.mnscu.edu/go/activate/. Please note that you will need to know your MSUM Tech ID, State Employee Number or Library card barcode and your SSN in order to activate.
Information Technology will begin the conversion process at 9:00 AM on Sunday, October 12th. Between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM on October 12th, most network services and systems will be unavailable so please plan accordingly.
