Meet Our New Admissions Recruiter Team

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is enthusiastic to introduce the MSUM community to our new Admissions Recruiter Team.

Robb Dent is a new member of our Admissions Recruiter Team. Robb earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from MSUM, and Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Riverland Community College. He served in concurrent roles in the MSUM Counseling and Student Affairs Program as their Graduate Assistant, Departmental Liaison, and Teacher’s Assistant from 2012-2014. He has served as a Counseling Intern in the MSUM Community Outreach Center and at Minnesota State Community and Technical College. He also served as a Paraprofessional at west Fargo Public High School from 2011-2012.

Jeanne Hettich began her tenure at MSUM as the Undergraduate Learning Community Coordinator in the Office of First Year Programs in 2011 and after one year she served as the Graduate Assistant for Orientation. She joined the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in 2012 as a Freshmen Admissions Recruiter. She served in many roles at MSUM that included: Peer Advisor, Student Orientation Counselor, and Counseling Intern in the Community Outreach Center from 2010-2012. She also served as a Trainer and Instructional Designer at the Village Family Service Center. Jeanne earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Spanish and Master of Science in Counseling and Student Affairs from MSUM.

Holly Hoeschen is a new member of our Admissions Recruiter Team. Holly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from MSUM. She served in many roles at MSUM that include: Student Orientation Counselor and Dragon Day Specialist, Showcase Coordinator for Dragon Entertainment Group, and Dragon Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions from 2012-2014. She also served as a Sales Associate at The GAP, Inc.

Nathan Hollatz began his tenure at MSUM as the Office Assistant to the Director of First Year Programs in 2012. He joined the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in 2013 as a Freshman Admissions Recruiter. He served in many roles at MSUM that included: Marketing Coordinator for Dragons After Dark, Student Orientation Counselor, Peer Advisor, and Dragon Mentor from 2010-2013. He also served as the Store Manager at PlantPerfect Greenhouse in Bismark, ND. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from MSUM.

Makenna Schluter began her tenure at MSUM as a Transfer Admissions Counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in 2013. Prior to joining us Makenna served as the House Director for Phi Mu Fraternity at the University of South Carolina from 2012-2013. She served in two roles at St. Cloud State University from 2010-2012, first as the Graduate Assistant in the Film Studies Office and Program Adviser for Fraternities and Sororities. She also served as an Academic Advisor at the University of North Dakota. Makenna earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, and Master of Science in College Counseling and Student Development from St. Cloud State University.

Katelyn Tamm is a new member of our Admissions Recruiter Team. Prior to joining us Katelyn served as the Front Desk Coordinator at Complete Heath Center in Marshall, MN from 2009-2014. She also served in current roles at Southwest Minnesota State University as Orientation Leader and Ambassador in the Office of Admissions from 2010-2013. Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southwest Minnesota State University.

Robb, Jeanne, Holly, Nathan, Makenna and Katelyn are all exceptional professionals, who are very passionate about student access to higher education. They are all enthusiastic and highly motivated to develop and sustain relationships with statewide and national high school guidance counselors and community college transfer coordinators to attract and recruit prospective freshman and transfer students to MSUM. I am confident that their collective fresh ideas, diverse skills, and zealous eagerness will significantly contribute to the success of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
