MSUM school supply drive will run through Wednesday, July 31
MSU Moorhead has joined with other Fargo-Moorhead organizations to help support the 16th Annual Community School Supply Drive & Distribution, sponsored by the United Way of Cass-Clay (UWCC).
The MSUM school supply drive will run from Monday, June 23 through Wednesday, July 31 at 4:00 p.m., with distribution to children beginning on Saturday, August 9th.
In 2013, 83 percent of all students who received backpacks and school supplies, self-reported that they were on free/reduced lunches. 4,744 children grades K-12 were equipped with a backpack and school supplies. Over 500 volunteers from businesses, organizations, and individuals donated a tremendous amount of supplies.
Please help solve this critical need in our community by dropping off school supplies on or before Wednesday, July 31st, in the red barrels located outside the Office of Human Resources – OWENS 214.

NEW backpacks (no wheels)*; 1″ 3-Ring Binders*; Pointed & blunt tip Scissors*; Pencil Pouches (not boxes)*; Folders; Loose leaf paper; Wide & College ruled notebooks; Blue/Black pens; Red pens; Highlighters; Colored Pencils; Thick Markers; 24-Ct Crayons; Pink erasers; Glue bottles; Glue sticks; Rulers

HOW TO DONATE FINANCIALLY
Monetary donations can be mailed to UWCC, PO Box 1609, Fargo, ND 58107 or dropped off at United Way of Cass-Clay at 219 7th Street South, Fargo.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed weekdays Tuesday, July 31-Tuesday, August 12.
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION WILL OPEN JULY 14, 2014.
Shifts will accommodate between 10-20 people and times are as follow: 9-11am, 11:30-1:30pm, and 2-4pm.
These shifts fill up quickly, so gather your co-workers, friends, or family and mark your calendars to register early!
