Straw Hat Kicks Off Season with Bubbly Musical Comedy Suds
Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Straw Hat Players Summer Theatre opens its 51st season with the musical Suds, a PG-13-rated revue featuring hits like “Respect,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” and “Chapel of Love.” The musical’s story is that of a young woman and her guardian angels, who teach her to find true love in a laundromat. The show runs from June 3 to 6 on the Gaede Stage.
All performances start at 7:30 p.m. A signed performance for the hearing impaired takes place on Wednesday. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, if not sold out.
