Pop Culture Talk Back: Multidisciplinary Engagement of Popular Culture today at 2 p.m.

Faculty members, celebrate the last day of classes by participating in a pop culture session! Join the Pop Culture Faculty Associate team at the Faculty Development Center today at 2:00 p.m. for a critical engagement session with a live screening of an episode of the popular Anime series – “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.” We will watch one episode of the show (20 minutes) and then host a discussion driven by the themes and connections between the show and computer culture, feminism, and critical race studies. All are welcome to join, participants will both join in the conversation related to the pop culture screening as well as devise strategies on facilitating pop culture conversations in the classroom.
