Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week: Extreme Heat

Minnesota Severe Weather Awareness Week is April 21-25, 2014.  This year’s focus is “What if…?”.  MSUM Public Safety will be supporting this state wide effort to educate the public by assisting Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the National Weather Service in reaching out to the public on a different topic each day of this week.  MSUM Public Safety encourages the MSUM Community to think about “What if….” scenarios this week and what you would do if confronted with a severe weather emergency.  Friday’s highlighted topic is “Extreme Heat”.  Click on this link to learn more on Extreme Heat Hazards and to access an extreme heat toolkit: Extreme Heat
