Gerontology Student Awarded Scholarship from the MN Gerontological Society

Katherine Johanson, a junior majoring in Gerontology and Psychology, has been awarded the Gerald Bloedow Scholarship from the Minnesota Gerontological Society. In 1994, MGS established the Bloedow Scholarship fund to honor the lifelong contributions of Gerald Bloedow to the field of aging and to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students to further their education in gerontology.

Johanson will receive the scholarship at the 38th Annual MGS Conference on April 25 in Brooklyn Center.
