Foundations of University Success (LASC 2) offered as online course this summer
UNIV 121: Foundations of University Success (LASC 2) offered online this summer (July 2 to August 5).
This course is designed to help students develop the critical thinking skills needed for both academic and personal success. Through discovery and self-assessment, students will apply the methods of motivation, goal-setting, study skills, learning styles, problem solving and time management to achieve their college goals.
In this course, you will:
- develop critical thinking skills essential for success. (LASC 2 Competencies)
- employ effective strategies for academic success
- identify personal/academic goals for self-motivation and future planning
