Smoking policy includes electronic cigarettes ban

Currently, the FDA has not placed regulations on electronic cigarettes. The U.S. Surgeon General’s “The Health Consequences of Smoking—50 Years of Progress” Report (January 2014) considers electronic cigarettes tobacco use. In the spirit of the current Minnesota State University Moorhead Smoking and Tobacco Use/Sale Policy, the use or sale of electronic cigarettes on campus is in violation of university policy and is prohibited.
