The ability to build and control machines at the nanoscale—the distance scale of atoms and molecules–would dramatically change science, technology, and how we live.Though no law of physics prevents making machines a few nanometers in size, there are unique difficulties involved. Biological systems have been creating molecular machines for billions of years. What can we learn from them? What physical principles are important at this scale? Come find out!
