We’re Making Progress
We’re making progress on the new C-Store! Yes, indeed, there has been a lot happening behind the walls in the student union with the funny half pink door. In the last two weeks, the contractors have finished off the electrical, put in the major duct work, and nearly finished framing up the new walls!
The east wall will be home to several coolers, which is why there needs to be so many outlets. The duct work in place above the coolers is designed to help the coolers keep, well, cool. When all is said and done, this wall could be your one-stop-shop for any beverage!
Another interesting feature of the new C-store will be 
the glass storefront. Here you can see the framing for the soffit that will house the glass wall. Using glass on the store front is intended to give the interior of the student union a more open feel with the use of transparent materials.
Plus, with glass walls you’ll be able to see all the tasty treats the C-Store has to offer you! And remember, you’ll be able to use your Dragon Dollars to make purchases at the C-Store.
As the construction crew continues to make progress on the new space, we’ll post updates here! Soon the space will really start to take shape as they begin sheet-rocking during the first part of December.
