Student Affairs career showcase a success

Over twenty-five student affairs professionals represented five colleges at the Student Affairs Career Showcase last Wednesday. The Student Affairs Career Showcase was a venue for current graduate students to network with professionals in the Fargo-Moorhead area as well as for undergrad student leaders to consider a graduate degree in Counseling & Student Affairs Graduate Program here at MSUM to become a student affairs professional or college counselor. An expert panel of six mid and senior-level student affairs professionals, which included Dr. Anne Blackhurst, Provost and Senior VP for Academic Affairs from MSUM, Yvette Underdue Murph, VP for Enrollment & Student Affairs from MSUM, Angela Mathers, Student Activities from MState, Scott Ellingson, Admissions from Concordia, Gene Taylor, Athletics from NDSU, and Melinda Rustad, Academic Affairs from Globe University shared their journey in the student affairs profession. Over fifty students had an opportunity to network with student affairs professionals and listen to their stories and advice.
