PRSSA holds officer elections for 2013-14

ELECTIONS
PRSSA will be holding elections for the 2013-2014 executive board in May. A list of the open officer positions are attached along with an application. Applications must be turned into the PRSSA room or a current officer by April 22. It is allowed to run for more than on position.

PRSSA has meetings every Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the Mass Communications Lounge. Check out our blog site at www.msumprssa.wordpress.com and like us on Facebook (MSUM Public Relations Student Society of America) to see more about us and the work we do for our clients through the affiliated on-campus PR firm, Positive Reactions.

PRSSA is not JUST for PR majors! Check out the attached forms to see if there is a position that can benefit you!

**A tip we learned at National Assembly in Albuquerque: If you are a PR major, the first thing a public relations employer looks for on your resume is PRSSA membership. If you don’t have this your resume will be discarded 90 percent of the time! So if being an officer isn’t for you, you should still sign up as a member and participate to put your membership on your resume and get some experience.**
