Music Industry student featured on Prairie Public Radio

Music Industry senior Michael Opp was featured and interviewed on Prairie Public Radio’s “Hear It Now” program Jan. 3. Opp, who plays the hurdy gurdy, is a founding member of a band that draws from bluegrass, rock and Celtic music. Opp has built a hurdy gurdy for himself, and will be a featured instructor at a hurdy gurdy workshop in Bloomington, Ind., next October. After graduation, Opp plans to study guitar repair and building at Southeast Technical College in Red Wing, Minn. Listen to his radio interview.
