Dragon Mentor nominations now being accepted

MSUM will offer 11 Learning Communities for the 2013-2014 academic year. Learning Communities offer first-year students a chance to connect with other students through sharing living space and classes. In addition students are connected with faculty, and a Dragon Mentor, an undergraduate student who lives on their residence hall floor and offers academic guidance.

This year, faculty are invited to nominate students who may be a successful Dragon Mentor. Nominations will be accepted for Dragon Mentors for the following communities:

Art & Art Education
Biosciences & Chemistry
Diversity & Inclusion
Education
Exploration
Film
Graphic Comm./Music/Theatre
Honors
Leadership
Technology
SLHS

If you know a student who demonstrates academic excellence and leadership, please nominate him or her. The nomination for can be submitted online, and the deadline is March 1.
