Dave Weinrich, MSUM Planetarium and President of the International Planetarium Society (IPS), recently gave an invited talk at the Gwacheon National Science Museum in Seoul, South Korea. It is hoped that the country’s planetarium professionals will organize and become IPS’ 23rd regional affiliate.
Two landscape paintings on metal by Zhimin Guan, Art and Design, will exhibit in the Humanities Fine Arts Gallery at the University of Minnesota Morris. Two other paintings of Guan’s “Snowscapes on Metal” were also featured in the Autumn Art Auction in the North Dakota Museum of Art in Grand Forks.
