Tri-College University Board of Directors announces reappointment of Representative Paul Marquart
Tri-College University Board of Directors announces the reappointed of Minnesota Representative Paul Marquart to its Board. Marquart will be serving his third and final three-year term on the TCU Board per their bylaws.
Marquart was recently elected to his seventh term as the District 9B State Representative. He’s been employed by the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District for 29 years as a social studies teacher and served as Mayor of Dilworth for eleven years (1990-2000). Marquart, a product of the Tri-College system has a master’s degree in Education Administration. He and his wife Colleen have two daughters and reside in Dilworth.
Marquart serves on the Board with the three partnering school Presidents; Dr. Dean Bresciani of North Dakota State University, Dr. Edna Szymanski of Minnesota State University Moorhead and Dr. William Craft of Concordia College, along with citizen board members, Pamela Astrup, Dennis Millirons, Deb Knutson and Mark Nisbet.
The mission of Tri-College University is to assist Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and North Dakota State University by promoting cooperative efforts that will enrich the academic environment for the benefit of students, faculty, and the community.
