Hot Club of San Francisco to perform on Gaede Stage Saturday

Feel like getting the heck out of Dodge this weekend? How about a trip to Paris, via The Hot Club of San Francisco? This gypsy jazz group’s program is called “Meet Me In Paris,” and will transport you to the small, smoky jazz clubs of Paris in the 1930s, or, if you prefer, the refined lounges of the Ritz. The performance features French singer Isabelle Fontaine, channeling Edith Piaf, as well as Evan Price on violin (formerly of Turtle Island Quartet), guitarist Paul Mehling, and a swinging rhythm section.

Saturday, Dec. 1, 7:30 p.m. on the Gaede Stage in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts, right here at MSUM!

To get tickets, you have two options: Stop by or call the MSUM Box Office (open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) 218.477.2271.

Or buy online at www.mnstate.edu/perform.
