Library and Information Technology Center renovation update

The first phase of the Library and Information Technology Center renovation is well underway with an expected completion date of mid-January. Temporary walls have been constructed to separate the part of the building under construction from the rest of the Library. All floors of the Library are still open and all materials are available to check out with the exception of the bound periodicals. All computer labs on the 2nd floor of the building remain open for use.

Phase two of the renovation project will begin in early spring. At that time, the entrance of the Library will move to the north side of the building (nearest the CMU), and the west entrance (facing the quad) will be under construction and closed. Restrooms on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors will re-open at this time.

The Library and Information Technology Center will remain open during the entire construction project and will make every effort to ensure that any disruption to service is kept to a minimum.
