Homecoming Highlights
Join 2012 Homecoming in congratulating the following individuals and offices:
Homecoming King Braden Van Den Eykel. Brandon Van Den Eykle is the son of Marty Van Den Eykel and Dena Baker. He comes to us from Frazee Minnesota. He is a double Music Education Major. Brandon is a Resident Assistant for the Dahl/Ballard Complex and was nominated by Housing and Residential Life. One day he hopes to be a teacher, alleviate bullying, and someday write a book.
Homecoming Queen Abby Furth. Abby Furth is the daughter of Pete and Sharon Furth. She comes to us from Lamberton Minnesota. She is majoring in Elementary Inclusive Education with minors in Math Education and Coaching. Abby is the President of Women’s Rugby and was nominated by them. One day Abby hopes to be a teacher in an elementary or middle school. She also wants to take risks so that she can live each day to its fullest.
Our office decorating contest winner is the Career Development Center in Flora Frick. Offices were judged on originality, creativity, dedication to the Homecoming theme and Dragon Pride. The Residence Hall decorating winner was 7th floor Nelson and the spirit award for Residence Life went to 4th South Snarr.
