Event honors retired professor and kicks off scholarship fund in his name

A reception to honor Dr. Rod Rothlisberger, Music, is set for Saturday, Oct. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Studio 222, 222 Broadway, in Fargo. Appetizers and a cash bar will be provided. Rothlisberger retired last spring after 50 years of teaching music and conducting vocal ensembles. The last 17 years of his career were spent at MSUM, where he taught choral and vocal music education, directed choirs and chaired the department for several years.

A new scholarship fund has been established in Rothlisberger’s name.
