Michael McCord selected to serve as Senior Editor for North Dakota Blue Book
Michael McCord, English, was selected by the North Dakota Secretary of State, Al Jaeger, to serve as Senior Editor for the 2013-2015 North Dakota Blue Book. A 650-plus-page compendium of historical and cultural information, the Blue Book also provides a wealth of information about the state’s social, economic, environmental and political environment.
McCord will write several sections and design the publication. He will also serve on several committees, work with volunteer writers from across the state, and meet with agency heads and members of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of state government.
Since 1889, thirty North Dakota Blue Books have been published by the North Dakota Secretary of State. The reference is commonly used by people doing research about the state.
