Sibley elected to Caldecott Committee
Carol Hanson Sibley, Curriculum Librarian, has been elected to the 2013 Caldecott Committee. This committee will select the Caldecott Award Winner and honor books for picture books published in 2012. The 2013 Award marks the 75th anniversary for the Caldecott Medal, which is named after the famous British illustrator, Randolph Caldecott.
Zepper to be published in Talking Stick
Kevin Zepper, Corrick Center, has two pieces accepted for the Fall publication in Talking Stick. The Talking Stick is a decade-old publication of the nonprofit organization, The Jackpine Writers’ Bloc. Zepper is an associate professor in the Corrick Center for General Education.

Dave Wallace, 62, MSUM’s retired Art Director, lost his courageous battle to cancer on Monday at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., with a time of sharing at 7 p.m., in Boulger Funeral Home, 123 10th St. South, Fargo, and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11 a.m., […]
