MSUM seniors awarded LB Hartz scholarship

Sara Beattie and Kyle Blake will receive $2,000 L.B. Hartz Academic Achievement Scholarships at the university’s 30th annual L.B. Hartz Professional Achievement Award ceremony, to be held Wednesday, Sept. 28 in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.

Sara Beattie is a senior finance major and a 2008 graduate of Sauk Centre (Minn.) Secondary School. She expects to graduate this December. She is the daughter of Steve and Carol Norris, Sauk Centre.

Kyle Blake is a 1984 graduate of Harvey (N.D.) High School. He is a senior business administration-management major with a minor in economics. He expects to graduate this December. He is the son of Arley and Arlene Running, Livingston, Texas.

They were selected for the scholarships based on their academic achievements, service to the University and community and work experience.  These scholarships are administered through the L.B. Hartz Academic Achievement Scholarship Committee of the School of Business.
