Low enrollment may cancel some summer classes
Summer registration has been underway since March 7. If you have not done so, meet with your advisor to plan your summer schedule. It is important to plan ahead to be sure you take the classes you need. PLEASE REGISTER FOR SUMMER CLASSES BEFORE APRIL 21. AFTER THAT DATE, LOW ENROLLMENT CLASSES MAY BE CANCELLED. Many courses are already full and others are nearly full, so register as soon as you can to get the courses you need.
- The Summer Semester begins on May 16. Most classes will last for three, four, or five weeks and will start at 7:30 or 8:20 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Special attention has been paid to offering Dragon Core courses, so if you are working on your Dragon Core requirements, this summer offers opportunities to do so. In particular, there are quite a few online sections of Dragon Core courses to fit your summer schedule.
- Students enrolled fall and spring semesters who were ineligible for Work Study are usually eligible for Work Study during the summer, if registered for six or more credits during the summer. The maximum Work Study award for summer is $2200. Grants are available for enrollment of one or more credits. Students eligible for a Pell Grant during fall/spring semesters are eligible for an additional Pell Grant in the summer. A Minnesota Grant is also available to eligible students for summer attendance.
- Complete information about the Summer Semester is available online.
