Collaboration for Children’s Success

March 24 and 31: 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.; April 2, 8:30 – 4:30 p.m.
The purpose of this noncredit or one-credit course is to help educators, counselors, social workers, nurses, and other human service professionals develop collaborative strategies to address issues such as bullying, suicide prevention, body image and stress that are prevalent with school-age children and in schools today. Practice in conflict management, listening skills, and other skills to meet the goal of working collaboratively will be included. The class will be conducted in seminar fashion during which there may be guest speakers as well as case studies to assist the participants in seeing the roles and collaborative opportunities participants may have in the school community.
