Night’s mystery and beauty explored

MSUM event features music, poetry, astronomy and drama

MSUM faculty and students from four academic departments come together to explore the night Friday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall.

The program interweaves readings of poetry with dramatic presentations, music performances and a star show, featuring images from the Hubble Space Telescope, and other observatories operated by NASA and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. MSUM’s departments of English, Astronomy, Music and Theatre collaborated to create the program. Performers include music faculty members Jenny Dufault and Sue Nagel, music students Joshua Ogaard and Georgianne Rowe, theatre faculty member Jennifer Tuttle, theatre students Nick Kaspari and Kelly Nelson, and pianist Olga Donner.
