Bachmeier and Short earn honorable mention awards
Brad Bachmeier and Sherry Lee Short, Art & Design, were awarded $400 Honorable Mention awards in the 20” X 20” X 20” National Compact Competition, sponsored by Louisiana State University’s Student Union Art Gallery. The exhibit, which opened in November and closes Dec. 17, features the works of 37 artists from 13 different states. The competition was judged by Sara Cochran, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Phoenix Art Museum in Phoenix, Ariz.
