War stories and other fiction topic of Oct. 20 Dean’s Lecture

“War Stories and other Fiction:
Crafting Literature from Personal Experience,” is the topic of a Dean’s Lecture by MFA candidate Dan Nygard, at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 in Comstock Memorial Union Room 101. He will discuss his experiences in the Iraq War and the process of turning them into a work of fiction.
