Comstock Reading Aloud Initiative donates books

This summer, the Comstock Reading Aloud Initiative, sponsored by Livingston Lord Library, donated nearly 600 picture books to regional schools and agencies. This year’s recipients included: Ada Elementary School, Bennett Elementary in Fargo, Challenger Elementary in Thief River Falls, Horace Elementary, Kindred Elementary, Morris Public Library, Page Elementary, Rossman Elementary in Detroit Lakes, West Fargo Public Library, and Christ the King Church, Clay Wilkin Head Start, Moorhead Public Library, Park Christian School, and Robert Asp Elementary all in Moorhead. These locations were chosen by the 2009-2010 Read Aloud committee members. Over 250 books were also added to the Curriculum Materials Center at MSUM.
