MSUM, Students and Absolute Marketing earn ADDY Awards

Three professionals from American Advertising Federation clubs around the country judged 568 entries in the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota’s 2010 ADDY competition. MSUM and Absolute Marketing Group received six ADDY Awards, and MSUM students received 18 out of the 29 STUDENT ADDY Awards presented.

The ADDY Awards, a program of the AAF, is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry. Each year, AAF members from around the country enter more than 60,000 samples of their best work, making the ADDYs the world’s largest advertising competition.

MSUM and Absolute Marketing Group received the following ADDYs:

GOLD ADDYs

1.  Burn Through – Mixed/Multiple Media, Local Consumer (Bus Wrap + Billboards + Mall Kiosk + Direct Mailer)

2. Academia Arcadia – Out-of-Home, Interior (Mall Kiosk)

3. Stack the Deck – Direct Marketing, Consumer, Single (Direct Mailer to HS students)

4. Enjoy the Site – Television, Cinema (Cinema ad)

SILVER ADDYs

1. Burn Through – Out-of-Home, Campaign (Billboards: Have a Nice Degree, Shop-Drop-Enroll, Ignite Life)

2. Burn It – Out-of-Home, Single Outdoor Board (Billboard: Have a Nice Degree)
