MSUM Kodaly Program gains national endorsement

The MSUM Kodaly program, offered by the Music Department, received national endorsement from the Organization of American Kodaly Educators. The endorsement was announced at the organization’s national convention in Dallas, last week. MSUM is one of only 25 programs in the country to have the endorsement.

The Kodaly method is an approach to teaching music that uses the best ideas, techniques, and approaches to music education. MSUM offers three levels of instruction during the summer to an audience that includes regional music educators.
