Dave Wallace benefit March 8 at the HoDo
A benefit for MSUM Art Director Dave Wallace will be held Monday, March 8 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the HoDo Restaurant, 101 N. Broadway, Fargo. Activities include hor d’oeuvres, cash bar, a silent auction, and special music by The Simon Rowe Trio. Minimum $10 donation at the door.
Dave was diagnosed with an aggressive form of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in June 2009. He has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments since that time. He is currently doing a clinical trial at the Mayo Clinic, and hopes to do a stem cell transplant in early summer. It is expected that Dave will not be able to return to work for 12-18 months. All proceeds will go toward medical bills.
