Dr. Theresa Hest, Communication Studies, is co-author of “Weather-Talk, Cynicism and Agriculture” in the current issue of Qualitative Research Reports in Communication. This study explores how farmers talk about nature by discussing the results of ethnographic interviews conducted with farmers.

Dr. Tim Borchers, Interim Dean of Arts and Humanities, is the co-author of another article in the same publication, “Communities of Cornhuskers: The Generation of Place through Sports Fans’ Rituals.”

Qualitative Research Reports in Communication is a peer-reviewed annual journal sponsored by the Eastern Communication Association. The journal publishes brief qualitative and critical research essays.
