Don Clark images accepted for exhibition

Don Clark, Professor, Art & Design, recently had three images juried into the Minneapolis Photo Center Portraits Competition.  he competition received over 1,500 entries from 218 youngkatie002entrants from 33 states and 4 countries. Professor Clark was the only person to have three images accepted in the exhibition. He also won 2nd Prize for the photograph, “Young Katie in Sheep Fank.” The images accepted for exhibition are from his project photographing the people, culture and landscape on the Isle of Harris in Scotland, which were taken while on sabbatical last year.

The juror for the exhibition was David Little, Curator of Photography at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. The Minneapolis Photo Center Portrait Exhibition will take place from January 2-31, 2010 in Minneapolis.

linecompositionascea1Clark has also had a photograph accepted into the Creative Quarterly 17 Competition. He was a runner up in the professional photography category with the photograph, “Line Composition #1.” His image will be included in Creative Quarterly’s online gallery beginning in December. This image was created in Italy while on sabbatical.
