Actors and Actresses Needed for Local Short Film Production
Award-winning independent filmmaker Tom Brandau is currently casting for a short dramatic narrative film to be produced this summer in Moorhead. The film is a coming of age drama set in the late 1960s.
All roles are unpaid.
Professional experience working in theater or independent film is preferred, but not mandatory.
If you have a resume and headshot please provide them, but they are not required.
Production dates will be between July 20 and 31 (approximately 5 days of filming total).
Roles to be cast include:
• Tommy (Lead) – White Male age 9-11
• Mom (Lead) – White Female age 30-40
• Dad (Lead) – White Male age 35-45
• Bobby (Lead) – White Male age 12-14
• Teacher (Lead) – White Female age 40-50
• Classmates – Boys & Girls age 9-11
Casting call will be held Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Minnesota State University Moorhead campus in the Center for the Arts 33 (basement classroom).
