MSUM Theatre Arts would like to thank all who attended our season opener, “Rent.” We were fortunate to have sold-out houses for each of the eight performances. MSUM Theatre Arts Department, in conjunction with the production of “Rent,” raised $2,600 for the Minnkota Health Project. The money will be used by people living with AIDS in the Red River Valley. New MSUM marketing campaign begins this month

MSU Moorhead is unveiling a new admissions marketing campaign this month with the goal of reaching out to prospective students and their families. The university’s marketing and admissions offices are working with Absolute Marketing Group’s award-winning creative team to develop admissions-centric materials under the direction and vision of MSUM’s new marketing director, Pat Staples. The creative gives life to the dragon and features a dragon-inspired “burn” that resonates with students and easily transfers to all media, departments and messages. MSUM String Teachers Clinic Oct. 10

MSU Moorhead offers a free clinic for area string teachers on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts, Room 148. 5th Annual MSUM Invitational Orchestra Festival Oct. 12-13

MSU Moorhead offers the fifth annual Invitational Orchestra Festival for Middle and High School Orchestras on Monday, October 12 and Tuesday, October 13. Performances and clinics will take place in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Hansen Theatre. This year’s event features 13 school orchestras involving over 750 string students. In addition to seven Fargo-Moorhead area schools, groups from Crookston, New Brighton, Champlin, Woodbury, and Minneapolis will participate. Click the headline to read more.
