The Interim Dean of the College of Education and Human Services is a full-time, twelve-month position with an appointment of one year and a starting date of July 1, 2012. The Dean reports to the Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs.

The Interim Dean will provide academic leadership and coordination for the College of Education and Human Services and will serve on the President’s Cabinet, the Academic Affairs Council, and other University committees as needed.

This is an internal search, limited to current faculty at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Requirements include: earned doctorate; record of commitment to scholarly achievement; record of successful university college/university teaching; demonstrated skills in decision making and commitment to collaborative decision making; demonstrated skills in interpersonal relations, conflict management, oral and written communication, and analytical processes; and demonstrated commitment, support and enhancement of diversity in faculty, staff and students. A record of previous administrative experience and demonstrated ability in evaluating and supervising personnel are preferred.
