Cinema arts and digital technologies professor Tom Brandau’s film “The Cleaning Lady” continues its festival run this spring. A dramatic short, which deals with the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, the film has screened at numerous festivals over the past year including the Langston Hughes Film Festival in Seattle, the South Dakota Film Festival and the Louisville International Festival of Films. In February, the film screened at the Texas Black Film Festival in Dallas and this month it will play at the Green Bay Film Festival, the Carnival Film Festival and the Ft. Myers Film Festival. “The Cleaning Lady” was written/ directed by Brandau and  produced by Janet Haak, director of study abroad.
