Some people love dogs, some love cats, but one MSUM Senior is a fish person. Biology student Randy Sutrisno has been passionate about fish since the age of five.

Sutrisno grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. He and his dad, who also loves fish, own up to 12 aquariums. At one point they cared for 200-300 fish. Here on campus Sutrisno has just one aquarium. His undergrad work centers around the different species of Betta fish.

Randy Sutrisno – MSUM Senior: “Some people call it quite hard to breed so as for me it’s kind of a challenge so I try it and sometimes I fail but sometimes I’ll also succeed.”

Sutrisno is a senior and he’s considering grad school.
