“Unsinkable Stories,” an Exhibition by MSUM Art Faculty Lauren Kinney, Kelli Sinner and Patrick Vincent at the Nemeth Art Center, Reception Saturday, May 10

“Unsinkable Stories” features new works by Gallery Director Lauren Kinney, Ceramics Professor Kelli Sinner, and Printmaking Professor Patrick Vincent. In this collection of work the artists tell stories through paper, print, ceramic and book forms. In her series Clouds & Consequences Kelli Sinner creates subtle layered narratives by combining handmade paper and ceramic forms. Patrick Vincent explores social and ecological issues through animal mythology in print and drawing. Lauren Kinney creates tapestry like woodcuts of imaginary worlds as well as collaborative books and prints.
