The Minnesota Environmental Congress will be at MSUM to present the Minnesota Environment and Energy Report Card. Minnesota state agency commissioners, community leaders, and community members will discuss Minnesota’s environmental and economic future.
MSUM is the group’s sixth stop in Minnesota. This is an opportunity for the community to express opinions, ideas and hopes to state policy leaders. The public is encouraged to attend the open forum.
It will be held in the CMU ballroom Friday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
To help prepare for this forum, MSUM’s office of sustainability is holding an “Amplify Your Voice (Without Yelling)” workshop Thursday, Dec.13. This workshop will inform those interested in attending the open forum Friday about how to properly communicate their concerns to policy leaders, where they can find information to research issues, and what to expect at the open forum. This workshop is lead by MSUM’s Sustainability Coordinator, Joe Herbst.
The workshop will be held in CMU room 203 from noon to 1 p.m.
