Benjamin Smith, Languages and Cultures, was invited to speak during Global Business Week at NDSU on the cultural impact of the Camino de Santiago on the economy of Spain. He spoke Nov. 14 to Pete Simonson’s class on Introduction to Marketing.
The event is organized by Newell Wright, Director of the Center for Global Initiatives. The intention of this week is to expose students to many of the issues they face in their future business careers. Local businesses were also represented, as well as a study abroad fair in the Barry Hall atrium.
